Major Collision Repair in Fountain Valley, California
What this work involves
Major work starts with a full teardown before any repair plan is finalized. Writing a structural estimate from the outside of a damaged coach produces a number that is always wrong, usually low, and the correction shows up as a supplement fight three weeks in. We disassemble to the framing, measure, then write.
How we approach it
- Teardown-first estimating, so the supplement conversation happens in week one rather than week six.
- Cap and sidewall fabrication in house when a replacement part is discontinued.
- Frame pulls are recorded with before and after measurement sheets.
- Coach is stored inside for the duration rather than sitting in a yard.
What sends people here
- Damage crossing three or more panels
- Any frame rail or outrigger deformation
- Rollover or tip-over damage
- Front or rear cap destroyed
- Slide room box knocked out of square
Questions
Questions about major collision repair
What happens if my carrier declares the coach a total loss mid-repair?
It happens on older coaches once hidden damage is exposed. We stop, document the full findings, and give you the file. If you want to retain and repair the unit you can, and the estimate we produced is what supports that negotiation.
Do you fabricate parts that are no longer available?
For structural and body components, yes. Fiberglass caps, sidewall sections, compartment doors and framing members get fabricated in house. Discontinued appliances and electronics we source rather than build.
